Video of Siaya Man Observing Francis Ogolla's Burial from Tree Top Emerges

A video of a courageous man observing the burial of Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Francis Ogolla, who died in a helicopter crash from a tree, has surfaced.

Francis Ogolla's palatial home

The Siaya man showed off his boldness and interest by clipping the tree to the top to get a good view of the burial.

He climbed up because no one was allowed in the luxurious home of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) boss Ogolla.

"No one was allowed in CDF Ogolla's palatial home apart from top brass military commandos, (President William Samoei) Ruto, (Deputy President Rigathi) Gachagua and immediate family members. Not even his hearse was spared," read the text inside the TikTok video.

Toyota Land Cruiser Prados at Ogolla's home

The man on the tree tightly held onto a branch as he stuck his neck out, observing what was happening.

On the gloomy day, he donned a white shirt and official trousers to grace the occasion. He seemed to be in another person's company, a man not far from him.

A fleet of fuel-guzzling cars, predominantly Toyota Land Cruiser Prados, was allowed inside the compound of the fallen military hero.

There were officers outside the gate who ensured order and provided security to ensure no interruption.

Social media reactions

The video went viral and captured the attention of social media users, who flocked to the comment section to react to it.

Kamwari: "I have seen a flying squad on the trees."

Dan: "Mourners thought they would go and cry inside there."

MIAMOUR: "They feared people were coming for revenge because of the rumours."

Sonnie: "Is top brass the guy on top of the tree? ."
