Isiolo Couple Who Bravely Wrestled Lion to Be Gifted Fully-Paid Trip to Heal : "Well-Deserved"

 On February 8, 2024, a marauding lion almost ended the lives of a man and his wife in Isiolo county; it first attacked the husband and then went for the wife, injuring her in the legs.

The man, identified as Michael, used a machete to fight off the beast as it attacked Susan, and the two were admitted to the Isiolo County Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment after the vicious fight. 

After the traumatic experience, Zunguka Africa Safaris Ltd has offered the brave couple a fully paid trip to help them heal from the experience. 

"We will be visiting a courageous couple in Isiolo tomorrow; the two bravely fought off a lion attack, narrowly escaping with their lives. Despite sukstaining serious injuries, they endured hospitalisation and have since been discharged to continue their recovery at home," said Zunguka Africa Safaris Ltd on their Facebook page.
